I can't pinpoint for certain when it was that Kris, to me, crossed over from being a legendary emcee to just an annoying gimp, but I do know that he used to rip the piss out of the jamaican accent and that really used to jar me off. That probably started the rot.

Strange person that I am, I prefer "Ghetto Music" to the arguably better "Criminal Minded" and "By Any Means Necessary" albums. I used to bang that shit religiously for months after it came out (no homo). One of the other things that pissed me off about this album though (besides Kris's 'toasting' skills) was the fact that the remix of 'You Must Learn' wasn't on there. The remix of this song that used the same break that Flash used for that song I can't remember the name of now, is STILL one of BDP's greatest songs. Unfortunately the album version, despite being lyrically nice, is the musically equivalent of knitting. The only people who have let me down WORSE than this with the old 'wrong mix on the album' trick, are EPMD with 'Give The People'. But anyway...

Then there was the old 'I am Hiphop', 'You are Hiphop', 'They are Hiphop' shite. Don't talk complete bollocks. I am A to the L. And I be blowing the soul out of this horn. You be Krs-One, utterer of bobbins. The end.

How about tricking us all into buying "The Sneak Attack"? That was a bitch move for sure. How about taking some of Primo's best beats, and showing amazing skills in rocking over them, thus producing one of your best ever albums... and then never working with Primo again? Smart move.

I hate when people talk about KRS-One and his speeches to the United Nations. Who gives a fuck? Geri Haliwell did that shit too, and she doesn't have a clue whether she's blew up or stuffed half the time. Equating yourself on the level of a spice girl = Hiphop.

Any Hiphop fan worth their salt will always pay tribute to the legend that WAS Krs-One, but he's increasingly turning into the equivalent of the drunken uncle at your wedding who wants you to dance and pose for photos, while he sways all over the shop with his cock sticking out of his fly. And although Tim is a fool. He's OUR fool. And we hate it when you, DJ Muggs, or any other dickhead comes thru and tries to fuck with Tim on the account of his Britishness, his whiteness, or his 50 Cent groupieness - those are OUR jokes, and not to be shared with you - the man who once married a blue whale.

Meanwhile his rantings on and through the Temple Of Hiphop website are kook-ish in the extreme. Waffling on about Christ instead of working on music = not Hiphop.

His latest ripper is the series of drops that KRS has produced to help promote concerts, public appearances etc. They're pure fucking cheese, and a must for any DJ who wants to put them on mixtapes for comic effect.
